Many of the IT Professionals have well put together Knowledge Bases and these are easy to search on and provide instant access to that remembered solution. Understand that a knowledge base is not usually your entire timesheet.
For others who are still developing this best business practice you might tap into some of Outlook 2007s new features. We know a TON of valuable information comes into Outlook and with the new SEARCH algorithums everything can change. Still change takes time... so as you take tiny bites forward.
Setup a category called Knowledge Base in Outlook 2007. As items come across your plate, that should move to the Knowledge Base, mark them with the KB category.
