Sad news was shared today, first through my former associates and then through friends. One of the young men I worked with has passed away. He was so young (44), so full of life, so devoted to his goals and his young family. It was all unexpected and not even predictable. David Collier rest in peace. Final words
It was not long before that similar news came my way. News of another young man and this case a the news was a bit expected, but not any less shocking or painful. A young man who had devoted his life to the small business server community, and to the IT professionals that supported small businesses. He helped make the world a better place, he made a difference. His last year he had to fight liver cancer and yet his positive energy and spirit continues to this day. Eriq Neale rest in peace.
To these young men and to the others, whom I have known and who have graced this earth and have departed before me, I have planted a memorial garden in my yard. Each soul that has passed has a plant and a small symbol to recognize their spirit. May you all rest in peace and perhaps if your spirit is traveling through Vermont, you will find a place to rest along the way.
